Having fun at the fair!

This weekend we went to our local fair. We had a blast, which is good, because the pocket book definitely took a beating. Can you believe $15 for 3 kids to ride the merry-go-round??? Yeesh!

This is Katelyn and I, at the milking demostration. The cow is plastic, and water comes out - but it is very close to the real thing. It even let out a Mooo here and there...

This picture's a bit blurry, but corn tables are one of my favourite things that the farms put out for the kids. So much more fun than sand, and less messy too.

Here's Katelyn taking a pony ride.

Fiona's turn! I don't know what is up with that guy's beard... we are a long way from Utah!

The bunnies were so cute and cuddly..... but I think Travis has his eye on something else....

Oh yay! I can't wait for the Texas State Fair this year. I am dying to eat some good ol' fried food. I think I have milked a fake cow like the one I saw in your pictures, it's a little eerie isn;t it?

Greetings, I'm one of the other Canadian followers of Junes Blog. I may live in Seattle and be moving to Phoenix, but I'm Vancouver and a Canadian I'll always be.

It looks like you guys had a great time at the fair. Corn talbes, what a great idea! I'll have to keep that in mind once I have family of my own.
